SharePoint 2010 Search Results Customization

By default, you can see the search results in regular format as shown in below screenshot.

If you would like to change the search results format from regular to Tabular format, you can modify the XSLT of Search Core Results Webpart as specified below.
Go to Search Results Page -> Edit Page -> Edit Properties of Search Core Results Web part -> Un check Use Location Visualization option and Click on XSL Editor to modify required XSL code.

Once you replace the existing XSLT code with proposed XSLT code, click on OK and Refresh the Search Results page to see Search Results in tabular format as shown in below screenshot.

I have followed the directions and I get an error:
Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.
